Who we are
MaxZus sells custom wall art made from photographs you provide. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have.
What we collect
- Contact and order details — your name, email address, shipping address and phone number.
- Payment information — processed entirely by our payment providers. We never see or store your card details.
- Photographs you upload — see the section below.
- Usage data — pages viewed, device and browser type, collected via cookies with your consent.
Your uploaded photographs
Photographs you upload are used for one purpose only: producing the artwork you ordered. Specifically:
- Where they are stored — on our own servers, in a private directory that is not publicly accessible and is blocked at the web-server level.
- Who can access them — only staff who need the file to produce and fulfil your order. Access is permission-controlled.
- How long we keep them — we retain your photo for as long as needed to produce your order and handle any after-sales issue, and no longer than 24 months. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
- What we never do — we do not sell, rent, publish, or use your photographs for advertising, marketing or training. They are never added to any public gallery without your explicit written permission.
How we use your data
- To produce and deliver your order, and to answer your questions.
- To send order confirmations, proofs, shipping updates and receipts.
- To send marketing emails — only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
- Payment providers (Stripe, PayPal) — to process your payment.
- Carriers (international couriers) — to deliver your order. We share only what is needed to ship.
- Email and analytics providers — to send order and marketing emails and to measure site usage.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@maxzus.com. We respond within 30 days.
